What’s Open Parent Sharing All About?

Open Parent Sharing is a termly special opportunity for parents and carers to come into school and celebrate their children’s learning. During this time, families are invited into the classroom to look through books, talk about the work their child has been doing, and share in their achievements.

Children love showing their grown‑ups what they’ve been learning—whether it’s writing, maths, artwork, or topic work. It helps them feel proud, confident, and excited about their progress. For parents, it’s a relaxed and friendly way to see their child’s efforts first-hand and understand what learning looks like day-to-day.

The aim of Open Parent Sharing is to build strong home–school connections and celebrate the hard work of every child. It’s a positive, welcoming event where everyone can enjoy sharing learning together.
