Grasshoppers Nursery sits beside Overbury CE First School in our beautiful rural village on the edge of the Cotswolds. The nursery was originally created to provide high-quality childcare for families living and working within the Overbury Estate, and although its intake has grown over the years, it continues to uphold its strong community ethos. Following a very successful year and an excellent Ofsted report, places are now extremely limited, so early applications are strongly recommended.
Grasshoppers places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, making full use of the countryside and farmland that surround our school. Children regularly explore the local area through walks, nature activities and seasonal experiences. Thanks to close links with Overbury Enterprises & Farms, the nursery children enjoy unique opportunities such as farm-trailer visits to the lambing pens, Christmas tree plantation and bluebell woods.
Families interested in Grasshoppers Nursery, or its after-school and holiday club provision, are warmly encouraged to get in touch directly to arrange a visit. The nursery is currently operating at full capacity with a waiting list, although places are available in the before- and after-school sessions.
