Congratulations to Tower Class for the best attendance and to Sheldon Class for the best punctuality over the past two weeks.
The importance of attendance:
The Government issues individual targets for each school with the expectation that the targets are met. Your child’s attendance is crucial to both their academic achievement and well-being. Please note that attendance is monitored by both the DFE and ourselves on a daily basis. I cannot stress how important it is to not take your children out of school during term-time for holidays and remember that it may lead to fines.
Maypole:
I do hope you all enjoyed our wonderful Maypole again this year. Well done to all dancers and singers, you were great. May I remind you that any pictures or videos you took today must not be shared on social media of any kind without the prior, express agreement of ALL parties. Thank you.
School Photographs: Tuesday 2 June
Our Photographers (Time Lock Photography) will be here on the first day back after half‑term [Tuesday, 2 June] and will be taking individual, siblings, whole class and Year 5 leavers photos in the morning. Please ensure your child/children are dressed in their full uniform (not PE kit) and looking clean and smart for their photos. Thank you.
Collective Worship:
In Collective Worship, the children have finished this half-term’s Christian Value by discussing how Wisdom can shape our character. True wisdom produces qualities such as patience, kindness, integrity and self-control. “The wisdom that comes from Heaven is first of all pure, then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit”. See James 3:17
Water Bottle / Sun-Hat / Sun-Cream Information:
Quick reminder about sending your child in with a clearly-named water-bottle and sun‑hat and that sun-cream is to be applied before coming in to School and none to be left in your child’s book-bag. Thank you.
