Who are the staff?



My name is Emma Ross and I am the Head Teacher. I joined Overbury in April 2017. I do all sorts of jobs around the school, but you will often find me in the classrooms with the children. My favourite subject is mathematics so I love playing with numbers! In my spare time, I love to go walking and camping with my husband, daughters and two poodles.


My name is Charlotte Davies, I have been at Overbury since 2004 and I am the assistant head, the maths and science subject leader and full time teacher in Sundial Class. Every year I organize our arts week in the summer, which is a fantastic challenge, but everyone loves it – so do I! I really enjoy outdoor activities and have taken pupils on a residential school journey to participate in climbing, tunnelling, laser maze and other exciting activities. In my spare time I love running and supporting different charities.


My name is Thomas Hawkins and I am a full time teacher in Sheldon Class. I joined Overbury in 2018. I am subject lead for Science, Computing and Music, which is brilliant as these are some of my favorite subjects to learn as well as teach! In my spare time I love to read, play my guitar and explore the outdoors with my wife. My name is Becky Evans; I have been at Overbury since 2010, first as a teaching assistant, then a student and now as the full-time teacher in Tower Class. I currently co-ordinate PE and am also responsible for trying to get all our amazing activities and events in the news. I also liaise with Grasshoppers Nursery and Kemerton Pre-school so that I already know the new children before they come to our school. In my spare time, I love playing football and taking part in outdoor activities.
My name is Hannah Fritchie and I job share with Mrs Evans in Tower Class, where I help to support many activities including phonics, numeracy and forest school. When I am not working, I enjoy playing tennis, sailing and enjoying good food with my family. My name is Andrea Garland and I am the part-time teaching assistant in Sheldon Class; also working as an administrative assistant in the office and as the Reading Liaison Coordinator throughout the school. When I am not working, I enjoy gardening, reading and spending time with my family.
My name is Tracy Teasdale and I have been the administrator for Overbury First School since 2014. Before coming to Overbury, I was in charge of customer relations for an educational publishing company. I have always been passionate about education and cherish liaising with the parents on a day to day basis. When I’m not at school, I am a huge book worm and look forward to family holidays with my husband and three children.    
My name is Helen Gascoyne and I have worked at Overbury since 2010. I work part-time supporting SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) children in school. I am a lunchtime supervisor and I also help to create the display boards that decorate the school.When I'm not at school I run my face-painting and balloon modelling business (Snapdragon Face Art & Balloons) and I love being at home with my partner and children. My name is Frances Cant and I am the part-time teaching assistant in Sundial Class. Within school, I coordinate the ‘Rapid Reading’ programme. I enjoy working with the children and the teachers, especially on the art projects and displaying the children’s fabulous work.

My name is Simone Pascolutti and I proffer PE support and handle some of the school’s public relations. I recently graduated with a joint honours’ degree in English Language and Drama and have numerous qualifications in coaching artistic gymnastics, which is where my passion lies. Outside of Overbury, I teach at a renowned Worcestershire dance school and coach competitive squad gymnastics. In my free time,I love spending time with my daughter, who shares my passion for dance and gym, and exercising with friends.

My name is Neil Chance. I am a part-time ICT technician for several hours a week looking after the the computers and the website. I also work at Bredon Hill Academy. In my spare time I like to walk or sail.
My name is Nick Satchell, I’m the site manager/caretaker at Overbury CE First School, looking after the school buildings - making sure that they are clean, safe and in good repair. I’m an active member of a local church in Tewkesbury, which is an extremely important part of my life. I’m happily married, with two children and now a grandfather. I would say that my family is very precious to me. I’m keen on most sport, especially motor racing and, in my spare time, my wife and I greatly enjoy visiting National Trust properties.
My name is Sarah Stanford and I am a lunchtime supervisor and the school assistant caretaker and cleaner. When I am not at work, I love to walk my dog, Will, read good books and cook for my family.
